High achieving students from Hong Kong can apply for the Li Ka Shing Foundation Lord Sandberg Memorial Scholarship funded by King’s College London.

Each year, they offer scholarships to support tuition fees of permanent Hong Kong residents planning to study a full-time three-year undergraduate course at King’s.

Located in London, Kings College London is a public research university. It is the largest European center for graduate and post-graduate medical teaching and biomedical research, by a number of students.

  • Applicant must have an outstanding academic performance
  • Applicant must undertake a full-time three-year undergraduate program at King’s
  • Students from any Hong Kong schools are welcome to apply, but preference will be given to students from a local school.

  • For 2019-20, King’s will be able to offer 2 new scholarships worth £15,000 each
  • The scholarships will be payable against tuition fees over the three years of your course only as £5,000 per annum
  • Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the applicant’s academic record and financial need, the latter of which will be determined by a personal statement
