1. President Muhammadu Buhari- Aged 75
Muhammadu Buhari is the current president of Nigeria. He has been in office since 2015. He is a retired major general in the Nigerian Army and previously served as the nation’s head of state from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’état. The term Buharism is ascribed to the Buhari military government.
He unsuccessfully ran for the office of president of Nigeria in 2003, 2007 and 2011 general elections. In December 2014, he emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the March 2015 general elections. Buhari won the election, defeating the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. This marked the first time in the history of Nigeria that an incumbent president lost to an opposition candidate in a general election. He was sworn in on 29 May 2015.
2. Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu- Aged 55
Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu, is a political economist, lawyer, and former United Nations official, is Professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He is the Founder of Sogato Strategies LLC, an emerging markets risk, strategy and macroeconomic advisory firm, and a Senior Adviser of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF). He is also a Contributory Editor of Central Banking Journal. In 2016, Moghalu founded the Institute for Governance and Economic Transformation (IGET), a think tank focused on the achievement of inclusive economic growth and effective public policy in developing countries.

3. Fela Durotoye- Aged 46
Adetokunbo Olufela (Oluwafeolami) Durotoye (born in Ibadan, Oyo State on 12 May 1971) is a business consultant, leadership expert, and motivational speaker. He is the president of the GEMSTONE Nation Builders Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental organization targeted at training youths towards transformational leadership and social change.
4. Donald Duke- Aged 56
Donald Duke (born 30 September 1961 in Calabar) was the Governor of Cross River State, Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He was once the former Commissioner for Finance and Planning and also Initiated the Tinapa Free Zone & Resort, and the Calabar Carnival.
5. Remi Sonaiya – Aged 63
This is Fabulous. Let welcome the lady aspirant in the list Remi Sonaiya. Oluremi Comfort Sonaiya (born March 2, 1955), is a Nigerian politician, educationalist, writer, a retired professor of French Language and Applied Linguistics at Obafemi Awolowo University. Had degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University and Cornell University. She was Nigeria’s only female presidential candidate in the 2015 general election under the platform of the KOWA Party.
6. Omoyele Sowore- Aged 47
Omoyele Sowore (born 16 February 1971) is a Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner and founder of online news agency Sahara Reporters. had degrees from the University of Lagos and Columbia University. Currently a lecturer at the City University of New York and the School of Arts, New York.
7. Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies- Aged 55
A round of applause for the second female aspirant. Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies born 15 October 1962 is a Nigerian educational consultant and an associate professor of linguistics with a specialization in applied linguistics and communication. She is a former director of the Centre for Vocational Skills, Entrepreneurial and General Studies, Rivers State University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She is a linguist, educationist, poet, communication expert, advocacy, and activist. Adesanya-Davies holds a Doctor of Divinity (D.D) Degree and Professor of Divinity (Honoris Causa) Award of Northwestern Christian University, Florida, US. She is an Academic and educational consultant at Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria Current 2012–2015. She is also the founder of agape Bible Church.
8. Peter Ayodele Fayose- Aged 57
Peter Ayodele Fayose, (born 15 November 1960) is a Nigerian politician and the current Governor of Ekiti State. Once Impeached as Governor in his first term in 2006.
9. Sule Lamido- Aged 69
Sule Lamido (born 30 August 1948) served as Foreign minister of Nigeria from 1999 to 2003. He was elected governor of Jigawa State in April 2007. He is a member of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He ran successfully for reelection on 26 April 2011. In 2015 he and his sons were put on trial for embezzling state fund by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
10. Tope Kolade Fasua- Aged 47
Tope Kolade Fasua (born September 11, 1971) is a Nigerian businessman, economist and writer. He is the founder and CEO of Global Analytics Consulting Limited, an international consulting firm with headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. As a political reformer, he founded the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) and got elected since February 2018, to serve as the National Chairman of the Party. Fasua has authored numerous columns and four books.
11. Prince Ojajuni Iniola Joseph- Aged 39
Prince Ojajuni Iniola Joseph, a revered young Nigeria’s Presidential aspirant was born on the 28th of December, 1978 to the royal family of Ojajuni Karaki, descendant of Mesere family in Ugbo Kingdom, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Ojajuni is a household name family in Ilaje Local Government Area having children across the world, and in different ministries and agencies across Nigeria, who have made a mark in their chosen careers.
12. Dr. Thomas -Wilson Ikubese- Aged 47
Dr. Thomas -Wilson Ikubese was born in Lagos to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ikubese on Sunday 22nd of November, 1970. The mother hails from Ughelli and the father hails from Amai both in Delta State, Nigeria. He is the chairman / CEO of Sckye hospital Limited.
Young Wilson attended Cherubim and Seraphim primary school, Ikorodu in Lagos between 1977-1983 and proceeded to Majidun Community Grammar School, Ikorodu between 1983-1988. While in the Secondary School, he represented Ikorodu Local Government in debating competitions.
13. Enyinnaya Nnaemeka Nwosu- Aged 40
Enyinnaya Nnaemeka Nwosu was born on the 14th day of December 1977 in Olokoro, Umuahia, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, South East, Nigeria, to the family of Elder Peter Onyema Nwosu & Late Mrs. Edna Onyedinma Nwosu, both renowned and respected educationists.
He began his early education at the Library Avenue Primary school (G.R.A.), Umuahia, from where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in flying colors, which activated his admission to the high flying reputable Methodist College, Uzuakoli, Abia State in 1986. He was a lecturer at West George College and worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland, SERCO Group, the Legal Aid Agency, and Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals in the UK.
